Event management is the full engagement: we take an event from the first conversation about what you want it to feel like, through budgeting, vendor selection, run-of-show and rehearsal, to the moment the last guest leaves and the venue is handed back. You get one lead planner as a single point of contact rather than a committee, and a team that has run weddings, state-level summits and corporate galas across Ibadan and Lagos.
Most clients come to us at one of two points: either at the very beginning, with a date and a rough budget and no idea what happens next, or halfway through, having booked a venue and a few vendors and realised the coordination is a second job. Both are normal starting points. We pick up wherever you are, audit what has already been committed, and build the plan forward from there.
The work is deliberately unglamorous in the middle. Timelines, contingency plans, vendor contracts, payment schedules and a run-of-show that every supplier has seen before the day. That groundwork is what makes the event itself feel effortless.

Our event management process
Consultation
We talk through the event: date, guest count, budget range, and what you want people to remember. No commitment at this stage.
Proposal and planning
You receive a written scope, a budget breakdown and a recommended package. Once agreed, we build the master timeline and begin vendor selection.
Coordination
We manage vendors, contracts, payments and logistics on your behalf, with scheduled check-ins so you always know where things stand.
Event day and wrap-up
Our team runs setup, the programme and teardown. Afterwards we settle vendors and hand the venue back in the condition we found it.
Event Management FAQs
- How far in advance should I book an event planner?
- For weddings and large corporate events, six to twelve months gives the widest choice of venues and vendors. We do take shorter timelines, including a few weeks, but availability and pricing both tighten as the date approaches. Send us the date and we will confirm availability on WhatsApp, usually the same day.
- Do you work outside Ibadan and Lagos?
- Yes. Ibadan and Lagos are where our offices and regular vendor networks are, so those are the most cost-efficient, but we travel for events elsewhere in Nigeria. Travel and accommodation for the team are quoted separately and agreed upfront.
- Can you work with a fixed budget?
- Yes, and we would rather know the real figure at the start. A clear budget lets us tell you honestly what is achievable and where to spend for the most visible impact, instead of designing something we later have to strip back.
- What is the difference between event management and coordination?
- Event management covers the whole project from planning through execution. Coordination is the on-the-day layer only, for clients who have already done their own planning and need a professional team to run the day. See our event coordination service for that.
